2010 was an amazing year for our renewed Seattle IGDA chapter: Chris Taylor spoke about his weekly video blogs and the open development of Kings and Castles at Gas Powered Games, and we had an awesome LOGIN Blowout party. We also had a three night Pub Crawl at Casual Connect and an awesome Pax Murder Mystery Cruise. Your chapter also participated in both the Game Jam for Health and the Global Game Jam.
We’re well into making 2011 even better; if you’re interested in participating, contact us or join the steering committee conference calls (see the calendar for details).
Between the various game developer events, conventions, game jams and continuing education, we try to keep track of what’s going on for Game Developers in the Seattle area.
If you know of an event not listed, please let us know so we can share.
More to come!
